Today's Thoughts

Well, another Pagan Pride Day has come and gone in Batesville and according to the posts on another board everything went quite well. I was hoping that everything would go smoothly. Batesville may be across the state but it serves as a type of gauge for possible actions and reactions towards Pagans everywhere by the religious right. I really wonder if they realize how badly they appear to everyone else with the constant spouting of religous rhetoric that means little to nothing to those who don't follow or adhere to their particular brand of religious thought? Do they realize that the world sees them as infantile, ridiculous, and possibly even dangerous? Most of us just want to get along and be left alone to worship as we chose, not have religious decisions made for us by others. This is still America, isn't it?

Current thoughts...

Well, it seems that with Mars being so close to our planet right now, until the 26th, that everyone is getting a bit pissy and snippy. Friends and family members are snarling are each other over little things, nothing things. Can we hang on until all of this passes? The dream time is full of messages and odd portants. I find myself waking from odd dreams and crazy conversations on the other side. The more that I work at 'walking with one foot in the other realm', the more these things are become clearer to me. Card readings are filled with major cards and constant signals of new things, time to evolve spiritually, time to step forward and create what is needed. Dear friends are telling me "..it's time to be more than just the healer.." So, I meditate, I plan, I dream. Trying to prepare for the future and what my role will be.
